South Africa is located in the southern hemisphere.

The capital of South Africa is Pretoria. The country is surrounded by the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.

There are several famous cities and places:

South Africa's most famous animals are: the Red-Billed Oxpecker, the rhinoceros, the ostrich, the impala, the giraffe, the African rock python, the chimpanzee, the lion, the zebra, the elephant.

Australia is divided into sereval parts, it is  located in Southern Asia and north of Antarctica. In its flag, there is the Union Jack, the flag of the United Kingdom, because  Australia was colonized by the United Kingdom.

Hogmanay

Hogmanay is on the 31th December , it's celebrated on the Eve of the 1st January .
It's celebrated in Scotland, in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
During Hogmanay we sing « Auld lang syne ».
Hogmanay is celebrated during 2 days.
The activity planned for the 1st day in Edinburgh is the Torchlight Procession and on the 2nd day they do « Loony dook » and « New year sprint final ».
The 2 traditions for Hogmanay are « cleaning the house »and « first footing »
